Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is a clinical imaging technique that records the thermal patterns of your body which can determine cause of pain, aid in early detection of disease and pathology, as well as evaluate sensory nerve irritation or significant soft tissue injury. It can also define a previously diagnosed injury or condition, identify an abnormal area for further diagnostic testing and follow progress of healing and rehabilitation.
The procedure is painless, noninvasive and can take as little as 15 minutes. DITI offers a reliable means of graphically mapping skin surface temperature emitted from the patient's body. It monitors the thermal abnormalities of disease and injury as well as assists in the diagnosis, prognosis, therapy follow up and rehabilitation monitoring.
